Experiential and Social Campaign
Furby is back on the shelves and has brought with it: the Furblets! Our task was to announce their return to a new generation of young families whose children are unaware of the brand. While younger audiences may not know of Furby, the toy’s spirit of play is something that unites both parents and their kids. So, we had our larger-than-life friend crash land into New York and documented its trail of mischief across the city with our campaign taking a three-pronged approach.
First, giant footsteps, paint splatters and fur-wrapped items were placed in New York City’s busiest public areas with an open invitation sent for people to visit “Furby’s Crib”. Secondly, we reached out to influencers, from Caleb Simpson to What’s Poppin with Davis, who recorded themselves uncovering the mysterious occurrences before finally releasing a hero film of all the sites starring Maris Jones.
In total, we wrapped seven items including the side of a building with five influencers tied to our TikTok campaign.
